Standard Application and Infrastructure Monitoring Services provide 24×7 application and server monitoring by highly trained and dedicated operations technicians in each Enterprise Hosting, Data Center. Our standard monitoring technologies use an agentless, multi-layered monitoring approach to simulate an end user traversing your application and also explore areas within the application and equipment components to isolate and pinpoint any problems. Our monitoring systems are configured to monitor your critical IT, VOIP, and web applications.
We immediately notify you if the availability or performance of your web server or application violates your alarm thresholds. Enterprise Hosting can also perform basic troubleshooting to fix problems to the limits that you specify. Monthly reports provide you with information you need to pinpoint performance degradation, identify usage trends, diagnose bottlenecks and plan for long-term system changes and upgrades.

Public and Private Monitoring
The best way to test end-user performance is to access the application from the public network. While public access is perfectly suited for problem identification, problem isolation and troubleshooting must take place behind the managed firewall. To accomplish both goals – realistic testing and secure problem isolation – we’ve created a secure private connection from our monitoring platform to your colocated network to ensure that unauthorized network traffic cannot reach your hosted application.
Identification, Notification and Escalation
With Standard AIMS, your application is watched every hour of every day by highly trained, dedicated Operations Technicians in the Enterprise Hosting Network Operations Centers (NOCs). When an alarm is generated, one of our Operations Technicians performs troubleshooting procedures to identify and isolate false alarms and verify a problem exists. If a problem is identified the Hosting technicians notify your designated point of contact within 15 minutes.
Enterprise Hosting believes that the most critical step in problem resolution takes place before the problem occurs. Based on this belief we offer a “Customer Notebook,” an individualized manual presenting detailed diagrams of your colocated network, a history of all modifications and updates, customized escalation procedures, account information, and key contact information. This notebook also contains specific instructions you want us to follow in the customer notification procedures, including the type of alarm, the time of day and any other parameters you choose.
Knowing the current status of your hosted application is only half the battle. Monthly management reports depict how monitored devices perform over time, allowing you to identify usage trends, diagnose bottlenecks and plan for long-term systems changes and upgrades. Every month, Enterprise Hosting e-mails you a high-level summary and detailed statistics available in HTML-based charts or comma-delimited text.
